Los Angeles Rams wrap up 2025 Maui Camp with open practice

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Los Angeles Rams wrapped up mini camp on Wednesday on the Valley isle.

The team held their final practice in front of thousands of fans at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku, Maui.

The stands were at near capacity with some of the Rams faithful waiting since the early morning to get secure their spot.

“We wanted to be here early just to beat the crowd because you know it’s a big event here,” Makawao resident Clinton Rebo told Hawaii News Now. “So, you know, we figure we wanted to be a step ahead of the other people who want to come in early so we went early”

Some seeing an NFL team in person for the very first time.

“It’s awesome and cool that they came to do this for us so thank you guys” Kula resident Zaiyana Fernandez said.

The players were appreciative of the warm welcome they’ve received on the Valley isle.

“A day like today is really great, a bunch of the local community comes out to watch us do our thing and then we get to interact with them afterwards,” Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford said. “It’s been a lot of fun.”

This marks the end of the rams Maui camp, a week to not only sharpen their skills on the field, but togive back to the locals.

“It’s a unique opportunity to kind of show the kids and the people of this area what we do and be able to interact with them,” Stafford said. “Hopefully inspire some some young ‘Puka Nacuas’ or some guys running around out here that they can get it done”

The Rams wrapped up the day with the NFL play 60 day on the field.

The team is set to depart from Maui on Thursday.
