Willow Keeling has a lot of higher ambitions, and they all seem to be tied around football.
The Grade 11 student at Western Technical-Commercial School in Etobicoke dreams of a time when girls’ football programs will be abundant at the provincial and national level, so that every girl who wants to play can just do that — without having to go through a boys’ program like she did. She envisions enrolling at Wilfrid Laurier University. Even if she doesn’t make their football team, she just wants to be around the game’s environment.
