Milos Kerkez could well join Liverpool this summer as an award winner, with the left-back having been nominated for the PFA’s Young Player of the Year.
The 21-year-old looks set to complete a move to Anfield, with his father confirming earlier this week that it’s a “done deal”. Bournemouth also looks to have given Liverpool the green light to go ahead with the transfer, having already secured Adrien Truffert as Kerkez’s replacement.
The Hungarian is expected to become the Reds’ third major signing this summer. [Jeremie Frimpong](https://www.liverpool.com/all-about/jeremie frimpong) has already secured his move from Bayer Leverkusen, with former teammate Florian Wirtz expected to complete his medical this week.
Kerkez will be expected to immediately challenge as Liverpool’s first-choice left-back, having firmly established himself as one of the Premier League’s most exciting talents.
With Andy Robertson being eyed up by Atletico Madrid, Kerkez could find himself thrust straight into the thick of the Reds’ title defense next season - but there’s yet more evidence why he looks to be ready for the challenge.
Kerkez is one of six players to have been nominated for the PFA’s Young Player of the Year award, underlining his growing reputation ahead of a move to Anfield that could set the Reds back up to $60 million.

He’s named along with former Bournemouth teammate Dean Huijsen, who has already secured a move to Real Madrid and made his debut alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold on Wednesday.
Arsenal duo Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri are also nominated, along with Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers and new Chelsea signing Liam Delap.
Liverpool will see Kerkez’s nomination as another seal of approval ahead of his expected arrival on Merseyside, with his father all but confirming his son will be part of Arne Slot’s side next season.

"It's only Liverpool for us and we're not going anywhere else and we won't talk to other clubs," Kerkez's father said this week. "Everything is done between us we just need to sort out some details but it's basically a done deal."
Liverpool.com says: Not that Liverpool will need any more convincing on Kerkez, but this is another good sign, and he’s keeping good company there.
It’s an indicator that he should be ready to step straight into Slot’s team upon his arrival, which might be needed if Robertson does end up moving to Atletico, although the Scot will hopefully stick around and provide some competition at left-back.
