Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, recently shut down rumors about him dropping more than just a few pounds during the NFL offseason. In the last couple of weeks, rumors have been going around that the tight end has been focusing on losing weight during the offseason and has shed about 25 pounds.
Kelce later spoke to press reporters during the training minicamp and verified that the rumors going around are not exactly true. The tight end also mentioned that his weight loss stems from the fact that he has been focusing on his running during the offseason, which in turn might have contributed to him shedding pounds.
“First of all, I never said that….don’t believe everything you read on the internet. I’m down some weight from the end of the season last year. This year, I got some time to really focus on some form running. Certainly feeling good, and it’ll pay off.” Travis Kelce said to reporters about his weight loss during the minicamp on Wednesday.
Travis Kelce has certainly been working extra hard during the training camps for the Chiefs this offseason, especially since he is eager to redeem his reputation after a disastrous 2024 NFL season. In the previous football season, Kelce managed to score only three touchdowns for the team and failed to chalk up anything during the Super Bowl matchup.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce seems to be still enjoying every moment of his relationship with pop-singer Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift has been spending plenty of time down in Florida to support Travis Kelce while he is trying to train with the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift can also be expected to be seen at a number of Chiefs games in the upcoming season.
