Sancho Gives Green Light to Napoli Switch

Jadon Sancho has reportedly said yes to a summer move to Napoli. as per reports in Italy. But, there’s still work to be done between the clubs. After a loan spell at Chelsea, they paid £5m to cut the deal short and send him back to Man Utd. Sancho is once again looking for a new home.

United’s new boss, Ruben Amorim, doesn’t see the 25-year-old winger in his pre-season plans. While Sancho has agreed terms with Napoli, the Italian giants are yet to strike a deal with the Red Devils. They are demanding a €25m fee. Napoli consider the price a bit huge. Meanwhile, Sancho is still earning £300,000-a-week and has one year left on his Old Trafford contract.

Transfer Fee Talks Stall Napoli Agreement

Napoli will be financially limited despite their interest in the Englishman. Napoli remain in talks with the Red Devils regarding the transfer fee. But, it seems highly likely the Serie A champions will try to negotiate a lower price.

In the meantime, Borussia Dortmund have also ruled out a return, stating they have other things on their plate right now.

Despite all of this, Sancho seems determined to leave Old Trafford. The Serie A champions seem to be in pole position. The winger will have the opportunity to get away from England and revive his form again.

For Man Utd, the sale may help make the summer window interesting. That is especially after Amorim wants to reshape the squad. There’s plenty of efforts needed to shape the strong group of players he wants to build. If both clubs can find common ground soon, fans could see Sancho lighting up Serie A next season.
