Liverpool are showing interest in a summer move for Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon, insider DaveOckop has revealed.
The Premier League winners were heavily linked with a move for the England international last summer and are believed to have maintained their admiration for Gordon since.
They have reportedly remained in touch with Gordon’s representatives after pursuing the forward almost 12 months ago, although his departure from Newcastle seems unlikely in the coming months.
The £80m-rated winger signed a new five-year contract with the Magpies last October, placing Newcastle in a strong negotiating position if the Merseysiders come calling again.

According to DaveOckop, Liverpool are prepared to make a significant move for Gordon if one of their current forwards departs this summer, with the likes of Federico Chiesa and Darwin Nunez available for exit.
Colombian ace Luis Diaz also appears to be facing an uncertain future at Anfield with two years left on his contract, as interest from Saudi Arabia persists.
Gordon has no shortage of Premier League admirers after a career-best season, with Arsenal also earmarking him as an alternative in their search for a new winger.
The ‘unbelievable’ forward, who joined Newcastle from Everton for £45m in January 2023, scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 42 appearances across all competitions last season.
Liverpool are on the verge of finalising the signings of Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez, and are also expected to bolster their frontline with a new attacker this summer.
The Reds are believed to be eyeing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike as a potential target, while a move for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak remains unlikely.
