Bournemouth star Justin Kluivert is interested in joining Bayer Leverkusen this summer amid a mass exodus from the Vitality Stadium.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the 26-year-old could replace Florian Wirtz at the Bundesliga outfit.
Kluivert is said to have discussed his future with his agent after Dean Huijsen joined Real Madrid and Liverpool continue to close in on Milos Kerkez.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed that Bournemouth are braced to lose Ilya Zabarnyi to Paris Saint-Germain, and Antoine Semenyo is wanted by Tottenham.
Kluivert has been left concerned by the amount of players leaving, while the opportunity to play Champions League football is a “huge” draw.
The Netherlands international scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 39 appearances and played a key role in an impressive season under Andoni Iraola.

Bournemouth fear losing Kluivert after Jack Grealish twist
Football Insider revealed on 13 June that Leverkusen are interested in signing Jack Grealish, who looks set to leave Man City in the summer transfer window.
Brown, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted Kluivert is also on the German side’s radar and would be willing to move should an offer arrive.
“*Bournemouth did remarkably well this season,*” he told Football Insider.
“The manager has done a brilliant job, but all of a sudden they’re being picked apart.
“They’ve lost Huijsen and Kerkez, and then there’s talks about Semenyo, Zabarnyi and now Kluivert.
“I feel sorry for them because they’ve got to sign four or five top players just to stand still.
“Bayer Leverkusen are interested in a move for Kluivert, they want to sign a new winger or attacking midfielder to replace Wirtz when he goes to Liverpool.
“Bournemouth are losing influential players, and that will make other players question their positions.
“Conversations have been had with his agent about the possibility of a move.
“From what I hear, I don’t think he fancies another year at Bournemouth without the other key players.
“His stock, like his teammates’, is as high as it’s every been and another year with some less impressive results might mean he doesn’t get this chance again.
“He can go and play Champions League football for a top German side, so I’m not surprised he’s interested in making that move.
“I think it’s something he’ll want to do if that offer does come in.”

Ilya Zabarnyi update emerges at the Vitality Stadium
Alongside the likes of Huijsen, Kerkez and Kluivert, Bournemouth are fearful of losing Zabarnyi to PSG as their squad gets picked apart.
Football Insider revealed on 18 June that Bournemouth want £50million for Zabarnyi and are prepared to hold out for their asking price as talks continue.
PSG are extremely keen to land the Ukraine international and talks are advancing as the Champions League winners close in on a full agreement.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider in December that Bournemouth will accept “huge” offers for Zabarnyi as Man City and PSG were keeping tabs on his situation.
