Nico Williams seems determined to make the move from Barcelona to Athletic Club after getting things moving again by asking his agent to speak to Deco.
Since that meeting was revealed, the rumor mill has gone into overdrive on this potential transfer, with the latest update claiming personal terms now been agreed.
Diario Sport bring more information and report Williams is “willing to do anything” to join Barcelona this summer.
The report states Williams is happy to give up a higher salary than is on offer at Athletic to make the switch and is willing to try and force the transfer.
The Spain star has even apparently “offered to ask the Athletic board to agree to negotiate a transfer” to help the move go through more smoothly.
Yet that seems unlikely to happen. Relations between Barcelona and Athletic aren’t the best, and the Basque side are unlikely to want to accept anything other than his €62 million release clause.
