Burnley table offer for Dutch defender – ‘Seriously working’ on arrival

There’s a claim in the Dutch media that Burnley are closing in on Feyenoord defender Quilindschy Hartman.

Scott Parker will be looking to add to his squad this summer as the Turf Moor club hope to consolidate their place in the Premier League. It’s claimed the Clarets are ‘seriously working’ on Hartman’s arrival ahead of next season as Parker looks to strengthen his defence.

As explained by the Feyenoord source, the Premier League new boys have been linked with the player in the past following their interest in 2023. At that time the Eredivisie side didn’t want to sell Hartman, but their stance may now have changed.

Hartman’s contract with the Dutch club expires next summer and with no sign of an extension, they will likely look to cash in on him during this transfer window. Feyenoord are reportedly already looking at possible left back replacements.

Due to a knee injury he played just 12 games in all competitions last season. Hartman has represented the Netherlands on four occasions
