[Lamine Yamal has been chatting about his upcoming birthday](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/6/6/24444200/lamine-yamal-has-shown-he-should-win-the-ballon-dor-spain-boss-luis-de-la-fuente) and any wishes he has as he prepares to celebrate turning 18.
The teenager already has a La Liga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup and European Championship title to his name but admits he wants more silverware.
> “At 18, I ask for everything I had at 16 and 17, plus the title I’m missing and the World Cup,” he told the club’s media.
>
> “I don’t think about the many years I have left to play, I want to win now. I tell the culés that we will fight and that the Champions League will surely come home.
>
> “Because of my age, I’ll improve every year because my body will grow and the difference with other opponents will be more noticeable. I’ll be more comfortable on the pitch.”
Yamal also looked back on a season that brought four wins over bitter rivals Real Madrid and admits he loves getting the better of Los Blancos.
> “Helping against Real Madrid is always something very special, something you dream about since you’re a kid,” he added
>
> “The team is very competitive, we’ve proven that. In the Clásico, you have extra motivation, and we left the Whites without touching the ball for 25 minutes in our own half.”
The Barca ace will turn 18 on July 13 - incidentally it’s the same day Hansi Flick is expecting his players back for pre-season.
