Leeds have made it no secret that they want to sign an attacker this season.
The latest striker to be linked with a move to Elland Road is Wilson Samake.
The 21-year-old currently plays for Stade Rennais in Ligue 1 and is believed to have plenty of potential.
As a result, multiple teams are pursuing the young attacker’s signature this summer, with Leeds United now submitting a bid for Samake.

According to Foot Sur 7 (19 June), the Peacocks have submitted an £850k offer for Samake.
The Malian youngster spent much of last season out on loan to La Berrichonne de Châteauroux but was soon recalled to support Rennes, who were struggling in Ligue 1.

Samake has done well for Rennes’ B team
FC Paris are the favourites to sign Samake. However, FC Lorient are also in the race alongside Premier League outfits Leeds and Bournemouth.
Despite this interest and the Yorkshire club’s bid, Rennes are not considering a sale for the time being.

Samake would be a great signing for the future
For less than £1 million, Samake would be a great addition for the Peacocks.
The upcoming striker could play in Leeds’ academy or even go out on loan to prepare him for an eventual place in the first team in a few years.
However, the task for Farke is to convince Rennes to let Samake go for an affordable price.
Anything under £2 million would be a worthy risk. However, Leeds cannot get carried away with the transfer fee for someone who is yet to be truly tested.
Hopefully, Farke is able to poach the youngster before any of the other interested sides act. The last thing Leeds need is to allow a fellow Premier League rival like Bournemouth strengthen because of their pondering.
