Scottie Pippen praised Oklahoma City Thunder’s Jalen Williams, saying he sees “a lot of me” in the young star and believes Williams could even surpass him.
Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen recently dropped major praise for Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams in an interview with ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

The NBA legend didn’t just compliment Williams—he said he sees “a lot of me” when watching the young star play.
“I see a lot of me,” Pippen said about Williams. “I don’t even want to put a cap on him to say that he’s going to be me, I see him being greater.”
That’s no small compliment coming from a player who won six NBA titles, was a seven-time All-Star, and made the All-Defensive Team ten times.
Often viewed as the greatest “second option” in league history, Pippen helped define two-way excellence in the modern NBA.
In his third season with the Bulls, Pippen averaged 16.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game.
Williams, in his third year with the Thunder, is already putting up 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
