Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly has reported signed a new contract at the Emirates, despite interest in him from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The Gunners were hoping to land Lewis-Skelly on a long-term contract, but he only had one year left on his current deal at the club. The lack of a long-term deal sparked reports suggesting that Real Madrid were interested in signing the 18-year-old if he chose not to sign a new contract at the Emirates.

Will Thomas Partey sign a new contract for Arsenal too?
The future of Thomas Partey is a lot more uncertain, as the Ghana international’s contract is due to expire at the end of June, making him a free agent.
There has been reported interest from Barcelona, and Fenerbahce, and it is understood that talks between Arsenal and Partey aren’t advancing as the Gunners would like. They are hoping to sign him to a short-term contract to keep him at the Emirates.
Last season, Partey was an integral part of Arsenal’s squad, making 52 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He featured both in central midfield, and at right-back when needed.
