Michail Antonio could leave West Ham for Sheffield United this summer.
The Hammers released their retained list on 9 June, which confirmed that there will be no decision on Antonio’s future until the time is right.
Antonio has reportedly been offered a short-term deal to stay with West Ham ,but is understood to be seeking better offers.

Antonio set to leave West Ham for new challenge
Antonio’s future at the London Stadium is no closer to being resolved after a delay to a potential contract resolution was announced.
Famous commentator and Premier League expert Ian Darke believes that Antonio could thrive for a club like Sheffield United if he was to depart, which would be a shock given that he used to play for Sheffield Wednesday.

Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, he said: “He’s going to drop down the divisions now, I would have thought. He is 35 and he had that car crash.
“He is very fit. I could see him turning up at Sheffield United, or somewhere further down the Premier League.
“He has given them years of great service for a fee that would be regarded as peanuts now. He’s been a marvellous player for them.
“They are going to look after him and you have to applaud West Ham for that and that is how it should be.”

West Ham should give Antonio a proper send-off
It would be a real shame if the Jamaica international were to leave the Irons without getting a proper goodbye from supporters.
He is the Hammers’ record goalscorer in the Premier League and will go down as a legend once he hangs up his boots.
While it would make sense to get his reported £90,000-a-week wage off the books amid a huge rebuild for Graham Potter, he deserves a proper send-off, in front of the fans and on the pitch.
It may be a decision packed with sentiment rather than sense, but on this occasion, that is the right move as it is the least that he is owed for his services to the East London outfit.
That being said, Antonio could thrive in the Championship with a club like the Blades and he may want regular game time rather than not seeing much action with Potter’s side, but it is still all up in the air due to the injuries that he has suffered.
