Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s ongoing overhaul of the internal structure at Manchester United has continued into the summer.
Changes have affected both football and non-football operations.
Following a turbulent number of months in which the club saw two coaching shakeups and over 450 redundancies, Ratcliffe has now begun to reshuffle his own INEOS personnel.
Sir Dave Brailsford is stepping back from day-to-day United duties to refocus on INEOS Grenadiers and wider sports strategy.

While Jason Wilcox assumes greater authority as director of football.
Against this backdrop of change, Manchester United Foundation has also moved to strengthen its governance.
They have welcomed two new members to its Board of Trustees: Jonathan Badyal and Professor Saul Becker, as per United’s official club website.
Led by Collette Roche, United’s chief operating officer and Chair of Trustees, the Foundation officially introduced the pair at a board meeting held at Old Trafford on 18 June.
Both were elected to the board in March and bring a wealth of experience and passion for youth development and social impact.
Badyal, a partner at Trafalgar Strategy and former Director of Communications at Universal Music UK, has a strong background in advising on creative policy and widening access for young people.

“As a lifelong Manchester United fan, I have admired the work of the Foundation from afar,” Badyal said.
“One thing that has been a constant and passionate focus of mine during my career is supporting young people and improving life chances.
“To be able to support the life-changing work the Foundation delivers is truly an honour.
“I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Becker, currently Head of Health and Education at Manchester Metropolitan University and a globally recognised expert on young carers, echoed that sentiment.
“The Foundation transforms lives, and that’s what I want to do too,” said Becker, who was named one of the ‘Nation’s Lifesavers’ by Universities UK.
Collette Roche welcomed their appointments, noting: “It’s important that we continue to evolve as an organisation.
“I’m sure Jonathan and Saul will offer invaluable perspectives to the Foundation’s future.”
