Travis Kelce Gets Honest About His NFL Career

The Kansas City Chiefs have been blessed with some of the league’s best pass-catchers over the past decade.

Tyreek Hill was a force to be reckoned with as a downfield threat, and Travis Kelce became one of the all-time greats at tight end.

Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins before the 2023 season, but Kelce has stayed the course.

He’s never shown any signs of wanting to make a move away from Kansas City, with the opportunity to play alongside another all-time great, Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs also have a great recent history of winning, which helps, but the organization seems to attract players for the long haul.

Kelce recently talked about that, indicating that though he might have one year left on his contract, he’s not planning on jumping ship in 2026.

“I got one year on this contract. I know that. We’ll try and figure out something for next year. The Chiefs organization knows how much I love them. I can’t see myself ever playing anywhere else,” Kelce said, via Dov Kleiman.

Great News: Chiefs star TE Travis Kelce is open to playing in 2026 despite hinting that this would be his final season:

It’s unknown how long Kelce will play before he hangs up his cleats, seeing how he has a superstar girlfriend and plenty of business ventures to keep him busy outside of football.

Assuming he signs past 2025, it doesn’t seem like he has any interest in playing anywhere other than Kansas City, an organization that has embraced him and helped him become a star on and off the field.
