There are other honourable mentions, such as Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, and Ilkay Gundogan, but many Man City fans will be wondering what young talent will break through to become the next superstar at the Etihad Stadium over the coming years.

Man City are currently on a recruitment drive for young talent, with the Manchester club closing in on three new signings from their Premier League rivals.

“You look at the younger players coming through. I’ve just heard about these two under-23 players, the captain of Argentina and the captain of Brazil, they have just come to City, on paper, that sounds really good,” Marr said.
The 2024/25 campaign will come too soon for the youngsters as Guardiola doesn’t think Reis is ready to play for Man City, while Echeverri has also been tipped to go out on loan.
The duo certainly have huge futures at Man City, but they will need to be developed properly and have some luck along the way to break into Guardiola’s starting team.

Ederson thinks Vitor Reis can become one of the best in the world
One man who does not doubt the talent of Reis is Ederson, with the Brazilian previously stating that the 19-year-old can become one of the best defenders in the world.
“He is a player who listens a lot, who seeks to evolve, both in training, in the gym, and in the English classes he is taking. If he continues with this mentality, this desire to evolve, he will certainly be one of the best defenders in the world in the future,” the Man City goalkeeper stated.
It remains to be seen if Reis will make it at the Premier League giants, as well as Echeverri, because that can never be guaranteed at the highest level of the game.
However, the duo certainly have the talent to reach the top of the sport. It will take a lot of hard work and some sacrifice, which both youngsters will already know.
