Marcus Rashford will have to reconsider his Manchester United exit options this summer after his dream move collapsed.
After his six-month loan spell, Aston Villa chose not to sign Marcus Rashford and rejected the £40 million buy clause.
As things stand, Rashford has been training hard over the summer and is set to return to United at the end of the month.
However, it feels inevitable that he will leave again this summer. Rashford was pushing to join Barcelona, but their latest interest in Nico Williams suggests they are no longer interested.
The 27-year-old will now have to consider his other options and Premier League clubs are lining up for Rashford.

Marcus Rashford could make Newcastle move after 2023 heartbreak
The latest report is that Newcastle United are interested in Rashford, but the Magpies would prefer a season-long loan for the forward rather than a permanent deal.
If Rashford did make a move to Tyneside, the Newcastle fans will have sour memories of him at United.
In 2023, United beat Newcastle in the League Cup final and Rashford scored United’s second in a 2-0 win.

There was some controversy over Rashford’s goal in the final, but he was eventually credited for scoring at Wembley.
It was Newcastle’s first major final in 24 years but the travelling Geordies had their dreams crushed by Rashford in London. Next season, he could be wearing their black and white stripes.

Not only did Rashford star against Newcastle in the cup final in 2023, but he also boasts a very impressive record against the North East outfit.
In 15 matches against Newcastle, Rashford has won nine, drawn twice and lost four of them. He has scored five goals and registered four assists against the Magpies.
During the early stages of his career, Rashford had more goal involvements against Newcastle than any other side he had faced, although that record no longer exists.

It was a team that Rashford often had joy against, but he could soon be playing under Eddie Howe at St James’ Park if a deal can be agreed.
There, he would compete with fellow England winger Anthony Gordon for a starting spot alongside star striker Alexander Isak.
