TBR Football can exclusively reveal how Liverpool feel about letting Joe Gomez leave amid interest from several Premier League clubs.
Gomez has been an excellent servant to the club, having played a huge role in Liverpool’s success in recent years. However, injuries have not been kind to him, with the England defender picking up several serious injuries over the last few years.
His prolonged spells on the sidelines have seen him lose his place in the starting XI, but his versatility and professionalism have made him a valuable squad member.
He is now being linked with a move away from Liverpool, with TBR Football revealing that several Premier League clubs are interested in signing him, namely Crystal Palace, Leeds United, and West Ham.

Liverpool’s stance on selling Joe Gomez amid interest from Premier League clubs
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Liverpool are now assessing the situation over Gomez amid links of a move away.
Liverpool are happy for Gomez to stay, but if the 28-year-old wants to leave, it is a possibility that the club will not stand in his way.
That said, TBR Football further adds that Gomez is happy at Anfield and has not asked to leave the club despite his limited game time.
It is not just Gomez who is linked with a move away this summer. TBR Football earlier today reported that Jarell Quansah is wanted by Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen, with the club reluctantly open to selling him.
Liverpool are seeking a fee above £40m for Quansah, whose sale would bring in pure profit for the club.
Liverpool’s need to sign a new centre-back this summer
The centre-back situation at the club is beginning to get concerning for Arne Slot.
While Liverpool managed to secure a new contract for Virgil van Dijk, his partner Ibrahima Konate’s future remains uncertain.
Konate has been linked with Real Madrid, with suggestions that the Spanish giants are working on signing him on a free by getting him to run down his contract.
Konate is demanding big money from Liverpool in order to sign a new deal. However, the demand could be a way to engineer a move away.
If the Frenchman does not sign a new deal, it is likely that the club will sell him this summer in order to avoid another Trent Alexander-Arnold situation.
With the future of Konate in the air and Gomez and Quansah linked with potential exits, the club will need to bolster their defence going into the new season.
