The Dutch-built vessel, named Lady S, was spotted just off Wemyss Bay, adjacent to Dunoon when sailing down the Firth of Clyde to begin her journey back to Gibraltar.

She had berthed in Rothesay Bay since Monday and eagled eyed Greenock Telegraph Camera Club members were able to capture her departure down the estuary.

Lady S is said to a symbol of elegance, technology, and power in the seafaring world and features a two-deck Imax cinema and 8K televisions.

She was built in 2018 by 'Dutch yacht building maestro' Feadship before being delivered to her eventual owner Dan Snyder in 2019.

Mr Snyder used to own NFL Franchise Washington Commanders, buying the football team for a reported $750million in 1999.

He sold the franchise for an astonishing $6.05billion just two years ago and sits inside the top 1,000 people on Forbes' world rich-list.
