West Ham ITK ExWHUEmployee has dropped his latest West Ham Way update, including a couple of new names the Hammers have been scouting.
The update is a welcome break from what’s felt like a series of gloomy Hammers stories—especially given the club’s sluggish and frustrating transfer policy.
Thankfully, Ex has popped up to give us a lift with news that West Ham are at least actively scouting some talent. He reported that club scouts have been keeping an eye on 20-year-old Senegalese defender El Hadji Malick Diouf, who plays for Slavia Prague.

Diouf featured in Senegal’s 3-1 win against England earlier this month and played at left-back, where he has enjoyed a standout season in the Czech league.
West Ham, of course, have a strong track record when it comes to Czech clubs—having previously done successful business with Slavia’s rivals Sparta Prague, where both Tomáš Souček and Vladimír Coufal were signed from.
Whether anything comes of this latest scouting mission remains to be seen, but Ex was also keen to note that the club are still monitoring Habib Diarra—the Strasbourg midfielder who was first mentioned on Claret & Hugh last month.
