Manchester United will face rivals Arsenal in their opening match of the new Premier League season.
The Red Devils endured a dismal campaign last term and ultimately finished 15th in the top flight standings, missing out on qualification for Europe next season.
Ruben Amorim may only have taken charge of United in November, but the Portuguese is already under pressure to turn his side’s fortunes around next season.
In the meantime, it appears that one of United’s outcasts could be on his way back to one of his former clubs.
As reported by CaughtOffside, German side Borussia Dortmund are interested in winger Jadon Sancho and are now in a better financial position to be able to afford the winger.

The report claims that Dortmund’s qualification for next season’s Champions League means the Bundesliga outfit may now be able to afford a move to re-sign Sancho for a third spell at the club.
Sancho first joined Dortmund in 2017 before departing for Old Trafford in 2021.
He then returned on loan to the German side in January 2024, before spending last season on loan at Chelsea where he made 42 appearances for Enzo Maresca’s side.
In total the Englishman has played 158 times for Dortmund across all competitions, scoring 53 goals and providing 67 assists across all two spells with the club.
The report claims that Sancho, who left United last year after falling out with then-manager Erik ten Hag, is almost certain to depart Old Trafford this summer.
Serie A champions Napoli are said to be interested in the winger, while AC Milan could also move for Sancho if Rafael Leao departs the San Siro, according to the report.
