“Looks likely” | ExWHUEmployee | New goalkeeper & coach update

**West Ham look set to appoint a new goalkeeping coach with a goalkeeper now strongly linked, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**

Following the release of long-term coach Xavi in the summer, it’s been widely anticipated that Graham Potter would bring in his own man for the position.

Our insider has provided an update, with the news leaning towards the club also now looking to bring in a new goalkeeper, following Lucasz Fabianski leaving the club this summer.

“West Ham appear to be on the brink of appointing former Danish under 21 goalkeeper Casper Ankergren as the new goalkeeping coach,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“We were told that the new appointment was someone who worked with Potter previously and Casper Ankergren did work with Potter at Brighton having also played for the club.

“If this is the case and it looks likely this brings an interesting twist because I have also been informed that a goalkeeper we are interested in is Mads Hermansen, a Danish keeper who plays for recently relegated Leicester City.

“The pair worked together at Danish club Brondby before Hernansen’s move to The Foxes and could possibly pair up again in East London.”
