Ansu transfer in doubt? Monaco losing patience as deal still not agreed

Ansu Fati had appeared set to leave Barcelona for Monaco in the summer transfer window but doubts are starting to appear about the transfer.

A deal between the three parties has still not been agreed despite recent reports claiming it was close to being finalized.

According to Diario Sport, Monaco are starting to get frustrated about the lack of process as they aim to bolster their squad this summer.

Manager Adi Hütter is also said to have told club chiefs that he wants answers in the coming days as he starts to prepare for the new campaign.

The Monaco boss reportedly wants his new signings in time for pre-season - with a date of June 28 in mind - or will look elsewhere.

Fati is said to have agreed the move already but decisions still need to be made on a potential purchase option and the forward’s salary.

Barcelona need to make some exits this summer and will be eager to get the deal done, while Fati needs to move in order to play regular football once again.
