Brighton are prepared to accept permanent transfer offers for Julio Enciso this summer after he returned from his loan spell at Ipswich Town.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the 21-year-old is not part of Fabian Hurzeler’s long-term plans.
The midfielder has just one year remaining on his current contract, and the Seagulls see this summer as a chance to make a profit on the £9.5million fee paid in 2022.
Brighton are preparing for a busy transfer window in terms of outgoings, and are prepared to entertain offers for any player should significant interest emerge.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider on 17 June that Pervis Estupinan wants to join Man United and has asked to leave the Amex this summer.
Meanwhile, Joao Pedro is keen to leave Brighton and take the step up to a bigger club amid interest from Champions League sides Chelsea and Newcastle.

Brighton prepared to sell Julio Enciso after Hurzeler verdict
Brown told Football Insider on 10 June that Hurzeler could cash in on Matt O’Riley after the midfielder expressed his frustration at his role since joining from Celtic.
Now, the former scout who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted the boss will accept offers for any player who is not part of his plans.
“*Brighton are open to offers for Julio Enciso,*” he told Football Insider.
“He went out on loan last season because he wasn’t going to get first-team football there.
“But he didn’t pull up any trees at Ipswich and hasn’t done anything to show he’s good enough to come back and earn his place in the Brighton side.
“The manager didn’t want him last season, and nothing has changed in that regard.
“I’ve heard there’s some interest from abroad, and if a bid is made I can see him going.
“I think if they can make profit on whatever it was they paid for him, it will be seen as a good deal for the club because he isn’t a part of the manager’s plans.
“That seems to be the case with a number of players at Brighton.
“The players on the fringes of the squad will be allowed to leave if good enough offers arrive.”

Evan Ferguson update emerges after Everton claim
Alongside the names already mentioned, the likes of Estupinan and Pedro, the Seagulls are also aiming to cash in on a number of their fringe players.
Brown told Football Insider that Evan Ferguson will be allowed to leave Brighton after an unsuccessful spell at West Ham, either on a loan or permanent deal.
During his spell at West Ham, the Ireland international started just one Premier League game and played a total of 151 minutes across his eight appearances.
Football Insider revealed in April that Everton are interested in signing Ferguson, and David Moyes backs himself to transform his recent fortunes.
