Club Urges Calm as West Ham Fans Panic Over Transfer Window Chaos

West Ham fans have been told to keep calm and carry on, as supporter anxiety grows ahead of the transfer window.

The latest West Ham update has come via Hammers News, who spoke to a club spokesperson in an effort to ease fears.

With the Irons seemingly unable to sell or buy anyone, concern reached new heights last night following reports that Graham Potter will receive just 75% of the transfer revenue from the sale of Mohammed Kudus.

Understandably, that development has triggered panic among fans—and I include myself in that—given the major squad surgery required this summer.

However, some calming words have been offered over at Hammers News HQ, who spoke to a senior club official.

“The real window only opened three days ago!” a top spokesman for West Ham’s owners exclusively told Damien Lucas.

“Our message to the fans would be to tell them not to panic.”

This follows on from ExWHUEmployee’s report, where a London Stadium source urged supporters to “judge us at the end of the window.”

Fair enough, I suppose—but there does appear to be a degree of mixed messaging here. On one hand, we’re told to remain confident in the club’s plans; on the other, we’re warned there’s not much money to work with.

What West Ham fans—and the club itself—need now more than anything is a signing or two. Let’s see some ambition backed up with action, not just words.
