Man United star offered to Real Madrid

This summer is likely to be a busy one for Manchester United, with plenty of potential arrivals and departures.

The Red Devils endured a torrid campaign last term, finishing 15th in the Premier League table, and they have already added Matheus Cunha to Ruben Amorim’s squad this summer.

Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen will all depart the club when their respective contracts expire at the end of June, but it appears that another one of United’s stars could also be on his way out of Old Trafford.

As per Defensa Central via TEAMtalk, United have offered forward Marcus Rashford to Spanish giants Real Madrid in a bid to offload the player.

The Englishman has since returned to United, though, and the report claims that United are now trying to find a club to sign the player.

Rashford, 27, is valued by Manchester United at £40 million and the report suggests that interested clubs are unwilling to meet those demands.

It is also claimed that Tottenham Hotspur – who beat Man United in the Europa League final – are showing interest in Rashford, however the player himself is reluctant to agree to join a club in London.

Italian sides Napoli, AC Milan and Como are all also said to be interested in the England international, who currently earns a staggering £325,000-per-week.

Rashford emerged from the United academy into the first team as a teenager and has now played 426 times for his boyhood club across all competitions.

The forward has scored 138 goals in that time, as well as providing 77 assists, but it appears increasingly likely that his time with the Red Devils will come to a permanent end this summer.
