I've Changed My Mind, Reece Weaver Isn't A Good Girl For This Reason After Watching America's…

America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season 2 saw Reece Weaver in a veteran role, and after seeing the innocent, sweet cheerleader as the good girl throughout her first season, I was happy to see her grow throughout her second season. Reece, who's originally from Jacksonville, Florida, auditioned for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders during America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season 1, and though she made the team, it didn't come without sacrifice. Reece was able to make it through the rigorous audition process and training camp, but some of her closest friends didn't get as lucky, which left her feeling lonely.

Reece shared a lot about her life in the first season of America's Sweethearts, which I was excited to see. At just 22 years old, Reece was open about the fact that it was tough for her to navigate the space of DCC on her own, with her family and her boyfriend at the time far away. Prior to her time with DCC, Reece had been living in Alabama and left everything behind to audition, uncertain about the future. With Reece married and getting ready for another season, America's Sweethearts season 2 ushered in big change for the DCC veteran.

Reece Was The Picturesque "Good Girl" Her First Season

She Was Painted As Innocent & Naive

Throughout her first season on America's Sweethearts, Reece was one of the cast members who got the most screen time and the most story devoted to her within the show. As a rookie, Reece was coming into the DCC universe with very little knowledge of what she was about to face, but an understanding that she wanted to be part of the most iconic NFL cheerleading team in the league. Having danced for years in different disciplines, Reece knew what it took to be part of a team and what she wanted out of her dance career with the DCC.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Throughout the season, it was clear that Reece was determined, but she also showed off her sensitive, sweet personality, and made it clear that she was a one of the very young hopefuls coming into the fold. In her young 20s, Reece still had a lot to learn about the world and about herself, and her lack of life experience was something that was obvious about her, especially because she didn't try to hide it. Reece came off as the "good girl" of the season from her age, lack of life experience, religious beliefs, or a mix of all three.

Reece Has Bonded With The Rest Of The Squad As A Veteran

She Found Herself Back On The Team

Coming into America's Sweethearts season 2, I think it was great to see Reece coming into her own as a member of the DCC squad. Though I was often surprised at how much Reece had matured, being part of the team seemed to bring her some perspective and help her to plant roots with the rest of the team around Dallas. Having a home, a husband, and a group of friends she could fall back on seemed to be incredibly helpful for Reece, who seemed very rooted and calm throughout the season. Even so, that lack of naiveté was noticeable.

Reece Was Shockingly Involved In Chandi Dayle's Rule Break

She Stood Her Ground

Reece fully shed her good girl persona by the end of America's Sweethearts season 2, especially after knowing she was involved in Chandi Dayle's drama. Chandi, who broke a rule by bringing someone up to the hotel room she was sharing with Reece during a DCC trip, was caught up in a moment. While Reece was clear she didn't blame Chandi, she wasn't happy about the situation, either.

Reece speaking firmly about Chandi breaking that rule and putting her safety at risk made it clear that her time as a naive good girl of the DCC was over. America's Sweethearts documented her becoming more of an adult, and I was happy to see it. While Reece's personality remained unchanged, it was clear that she was happy to be able to come out of her shell and show the squad who she truly was.
