Arsenal have their eye on Noni Madueke amidst his shaky future at Chelsea. The English winger has had a rollercoaster ride at Stamford Bridge since joining from Dutch team PSV in January 2023.

The 22-year-old has been in and out of the squad but is coming off the back of his most successful season to date. Madueke netted 11 goals for Chelsea last season, helping them win the Conference League.

However, his future in West London seems far from secure. According to The Telegraph, club bosses don't see Madueke as indispensable this summer, which has sparked interest from several clubs.

It's rumoured that Arsenal are among those monitoring the situation, though they've yet to make an official approach to their London rivals. The Gunners are eager to bring in a new winger this summer, with Nico Williams previously topping their wish list.

But it looks like the Athletic Bilbao star is Barcelona-bound, forcing Arsenal to consider other options. Madueke has thus popped up as a potential target, reports the Mirror.

Yet, prising him away from Stamford Bridge could prove tricky. Madueke still has five years left on his contract with the Blues, and Enzo Maresca has flatly ruled out any exit this summer.

Speaking at the Club World Cup, he declared: "Noni is our player.

"In this moment, you can read speculation about many players. But Noni is our player. We consider Noni our player for next season."

As Chelsea scouts for a new winger in light of Mykhailo Mudryk's possible four-year doping suspension and Jadon Sancho's return to Manchester United, Maresca remarked: "We had already one entire season already without Mischa.

"We are going to decide to go for a winger."

"In both cases, we have Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto as proper wingers, then we try to adapt with Tyrique George. It's a position we need to improve."

Madueke isn't the only Chelsea talent on Arsenal's radar this term.

Earlier rumours in the transfer window hinted that the Gunners were poised to nab Spanish shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga after triggering his £5m buyout clause, though confirmation of the move is still up in the air.
