Historic Ticket Prices Before Thunder-Pacers NBA Finals Game 7 Turns Heads

The Oklahoma City Thunder were on the road on Thursday night as they faced off against the Indiana Pacers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Oklahoma City entered the matchup looking to clinch the series and the championship with a victory, but that was not the case.

Instead, the Pacers were able to overcome a slow start and take complete control of the game as they picked up a dominant 108-91 victory to force Game 7 on Sunday.

It was clear early on that it was not going to be Oklahoma City’s night as they ended the game shooting just 41.9% from the field and an abysmal 26.7% from three-point range.

The Thunder also turned the ball over 21 times while only forcing 11 turnovers by the Pacers, which is a rare sight this season for Oklahoma City.

Despite the loss, the Thunder now head home for Game 7 on Sunday where they will try to use home court to their advantage as they try to cap off their season with a championship.

Ahead of Game 7, ticket prices were released on social media and they are turning heads as the cheapest ticket according to TickPick is $1062, which will mark the highest get-in price ever to a Thunder home game.

“Insane prices,” one fan commented.

“Bro what,” another fan asked.

“Wild,” one fan said.

It is clear that many fans do not agree with the ticket prices but there is no doubt that the Paycom Center will still be rocking on Sunday night despite the hefty price of admission.

Of course, the Thunder have been dominant at home this season and they have also fared well coming off a loss in the playoffs thus far and they will need their stars and the rest of their roster to play much better than they did in Game 6 if they want to win the title this season.
