All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal.

Arsenal are still searching for their first signing of the summer, though the summer transfer window is yet to open. The Gunners will still be working hard on deals as they look to strengthen significantly ahead of the new season.

The Gunners need to add depth aplenty after being decimated by injuries in the second half of last season, and it will be interesting to see how they manage their spending having prioritised big deals in recent years. As they search for new signings, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Sesko’s agent speaks

Arsenal are still trying to agree a deal for RB Leizpig striker Benjamin Sesko, but they appear unwilling to meet the German club’s price tag for the forward. Sesko’s agent Elivis Basanovic has now spoken, saying: “We respect RB Leipzig and I am 100 per cent convinced RB Leipzig will also respect our decision for the next step when we decide to do it. Even if there may be - or will be - a strong desire of the player to move to a certain club, we will never force or blackmail RB Leipzig.

"I can understand in very big transfers, there are a lot of different interests but no matter what, I believe in football world should be more respect. So that's why we do things in the right way or we don't do them. It's very simple, even maybe in the media it looks very complicated."

Zubimendi almost done

Arsenal are now set to wrap up their signing of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, who has been expected to complete the deal this summer after months of reports. Fabrizio Romano is now saying the deal is done and that Arsenal will pay more than the £51million release clause.

He wrote on X: “Arsenal will pay slightly more than €60m release clause as part of the pact with Real Sociedad for Martin Zubimendi deal. The fee will be bit higher but allowing payment in instalments as clubs share excellent relationship. Here we go, confirmed.”

Cuesta says goodbye

Now former Arsenal coach Carlos Cuesta has said an emotional goodbye after agreeing to become Parma boss. He wrote: “After five beautiful years it’s hard to put this into words, but I can only express how grateful I am for having lived my day-to-day with such special people and feel what it means to represent this football club, with its incredible history and value, The only thing I’ve ever tried to do was give everything I had inside of me every single day.

“I was inspired by the culture that was created, by the hunger of every person of the organisation and by the unity that we had in any situation that we had to face. It has been a privilege to have had the chance to work with the players, staff, directors and all the employees of the club and at the same time, to receive an extra push from our amazing fans in every match. Because of the quality of its people, I’m convinced that the best moments for this football club are still yet to come. Enjoy the journey, because it is a very exciting one. Thank you Arsenal.”
