Liverpool and Manchester City have been the Premier League’s most successful teams over the past eight years.
Between them, they have won every single Premier League title since 2018, and both are expected to be in the picture for next year’s title too.
Liverpool and Manchester City have also led the way when it comes to this summer’s transfer business.
The Reds have already signed Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi, while Florian Wirtz is on his way and Milos Kerkez could well follow.
Meanwhile, the Citizens have already signed Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Marcus Bettinelli.
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has now revealed which of Liverpool and Man City have impressed other clubs the most.

Liverpool ‘very much the standout’ but people ‘like’ what Manchester City are doing
Bailey, speaking exclusively to TBR Football, acknowledged that people like what Man City have been doing in the market.
However, he admitted that Liverpool are “very much the standout” at present, with other clubs “very impressed” by their business so far.
Bailey said: “Well, there’s only one club. Liverpool are blowing everyone away at the minute.
“Man City as well. A lot of people like what Man City have done. They really do. They’re doing a good job. But Liverpool are just blowing everyone away.
“To get Wirtz over the line ahead of City and Bayern is particularly impressive.
“But the fact they’re not even finished, you know they’ve still got room there to bring that striker in – and then they can hoover up anything else.
“It’s been a brilliant summer so far for Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards.
“I’m not saying any clubs are jealous of them, but yeah, they’re very impressed a lot of clubs by what they’ve done. I would say Liverpool are very much the standout.
“That said, people like what City are doing actually. It’s not an easy job reworking that squad but I think they’re getting there.
“It’s only just started, what City are doing. We’re going to see a few more big names leave there.”
