The biggest transfer of the summer is nearly complete. Liverpool have agreed a British record deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz - which will exceed £110m.
The player is set to undergo a medical on Friday, with an official announcement on the move to follow. He has been spotted flying to the UK, so it only seems a matter of time before a deal is signed off.
After that, the Reds are ready to press on as they eye a deal for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez, with the Cherries set to receive £45m for the Hungarian, and they are also interested in Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi.
Arsenal continue to work on a deal for a new striker, while confirmation of Martin Zubimendi's move to the Emirates appears close. The Gunners are also in the market for a new winger and have been linked with several options, including Chelsea's Noni Madueke.

Liverpool target Guehi
Liverpool will make a move for Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi as a replacement for Jarell Quansah - who is primed for Bayer Leverkusen. Erik ten Hag is a big fan of the Reds’ academy graduate.
The former Manchester United manager sees him as an ideal replacement for Jonathan Tah, with the German defender set to join Bayern Munich this summer. Liverpool are reluctant to sell Quansah this summer but it is thought that a bid of around 40m (£34m) could be enough to convince them to cash-in.
And should they do that, Liverpool chiefs have already picked out his ideal replacement. The Merseysiders are long-term admirers of Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.
Liverpool have been monitoring developments over the England star’s future with just one year remaining on his Selhurst Park deal. They could however face competition from Newcastle who have also been chasing Guehi over recent seasons.

Arsenal eye Madueke
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Noni Madueke amid his uncertain future at Chelsea. The England winger has endured a mixed spell at Stamford Bridge since his arrival from Dutch side PSV in January 2023.
The 22-year-old has been in and out of the side, albeit is fresh off the back of the most productive season of his career so far. Madueke scored 11 goals for Chelsea last season as they claimed the Conference League.
But it appears that his future in West London is far from certain. According to The Telegraph, Madueke is not considered untouchable by club chiefs this summer and that has triggered a number of clubs to express an interest.
It is suggested that Arsenal are among the sides keeping tabs on developments, albeit they have stopped short of submitting an official enquiry to their London rivals. The Gunners are keen on adding a new winger to their squad this summer, having previously had Nico Williams at the top of their shortlist.

Wirtz arrives for medical
Florian Wirtz has been spotted flying to the UK as Liverpool prepare to complete his record signing. The Reds agreed a deal with the German’s current side Bayer Leverkusen that will see them break their all-time transfer record.
The reigning Premier League champions are expected to pay in excess of £100m initially with multi-million pound add-ons being slotted into the deal. After thrashing out the terms of the agreement, all that is left is for Wirtz to undergo his medical with his new side and undergo his media commitments.
And it appears that is not too far aware. According to numerous reports, Wirtz arrived at a Cologne airport in a people carrier with his representatives ahead of flying to the UK. It was suggested in Germany that Wirtz may have undergone the first part of his Liverpool medical on Thursday, with final details due to be thrashed out on Friday.
