Jalen Williams sets all-time NBA Finals anti-record in Game 6

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jalen Williams finished Game 6 with a plus-minus of -40 — the worst mark in NBA Finals history.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will have one more shot at the NBA title in Game 7 of the Finals, after being thoroughly outplayed by the Indiana Pacers in Game 6, falling 108–91 in Indianapolis.

One of the Thunder players who struggled was guard Jalen Williams, who endured a historically rough night.

After an explosive 40-point performance in Game 5, Williams couldn’t replicate that success, finishing with just 16 points, 3 rebounds, and a staggering plus-minus of -40 — the worst in NBA Finals history, according to Basketball Reference.

The previous record of -38 was held by Jrue Holiday, set during last year’s Finals when he was with the Boston Celtics in Game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Thunder will definitely need a better performance from Williams in Game 7, as the NBA champion will be decided in Oklahoma City on Sunday night.
