**West Ham’s Two Transfer Birds With One Stone**
It would appear **West Ham** are close to solving their search for a goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach, according to the latest update from [ExWHUEmployee](https://x.com/ExWHUEmployee).
The Hammers are said to be on the brink of appointing Casper Ankergren as their new goalkeeping coach. Ankergren previously worked with [Graham Potter](https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-gaffers-budget-blow-did-potter-know-the-truth/) during their time together at Brighton.
Former coach Xavi Valero left his role at the end of last season after seven years at West Ham, having survived multiple managerial changes during his spell at the club.
Ex’s report also suggests the club are showing interest in Leicester City’s Mads Hermansen, who worked with Ankergren at Brøndby. The 24-year-old Danish U21 international has made 70 appearances for the Foxes since joining in 2023.
Aaron Ramsdale has been frequently linked with a move to East London, but at a reported £20 million, a deal always seemed unlikely—especially with West Ham juggling several other transfer priorities.
