Liverpool reach‘full agreement’to sign Premier League player–Medical already being prepared

Liverpool identified AFC Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez as the target to strengthen the left-back position well ahead of the summer window.

Bournemouth have been preparing for his exit and have already signed Adrien Truffert as his likely replacement. Liverpool have made concrete efforts to sign the Bournemouth player, according to Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg.

He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share an exclusive update that the 21-year-old’s move to Anfield is ‘considered to be a done deal’.

That’s because Arne Slot’s side have reached a ‘full agreement’ with Bournemouth, after the two clubs sorted out the final details. He adds Liverpool will give the defender a long-term contract, which goes without saying really.

The Hungary international needs to clear medical tests with Liverpool before sealing a move to Anfield. Plettenberg reports the Premier League winners have already prepared for his medical and if there are no setbacks, it will take place next week.

Andrew Robertson and Konstantinos Tsimikas were the two left-backs for Liverpool last season.

The 31-year-old Scotland international, who has been the first-choice in the current era, has a year left on his contract. On Thursday, AS reported Robertson has given his approval to joining Atlético Madrid.
