Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot’s Portugal teammate breaks silence on his ‘situation’ amid Man Utd transfer interest

Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot’s Portugal teammate has now set the record straight over his club future after being linked with Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United are expected to have a busy summer transfer window, with Ruben Amorim in desperate need of new signings for his first-team squad.

The Red Devils have already made an early move in the summer window and United signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a £62.5m transfer fee earlier this month.

Matheus Cunha was a key target for United and Ruben Amorim has been keen to reinforce his attacking options after a lacklustre 2024-25 season at Old Trafford.

United have also been linked with several other players, including Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

The Red Devils embark on their pre-season tour in July and August ahead of United kicking off their 2025-26 Premier League season against Arsenal on 17th August.

PSG striker Goncalo Ramos speaks out after Man Utd are linked with Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot’s Portugal teammate

Goncalo Ramos has emerged on Manchester United’s radar in recent weeks, with the Red Devils identifying a new striker as a key position to reinforce this summer.

The 24-year-old Portugal international is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028 and United face a difficult task in signing Goncalo Ramos in the window.

Ramos has made 43 appearances across all competitions for PSG in the 2024-25 season and the Portuguese striker has netted 18 times and registered six assists.

Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot’s Portugal teammate is away at the FIFA Club World Cup with PSG this summer and Ramos has spoken out on his future.

Speaking ahead of PSG’s 1-0 defeat to Botafogo on Friday, Ramos insisted that he was “happy” with his “situation” at PSG amid being linked with United.

“My situation? I’m very happy here,” he said, as per PSG Talk.

“Everyone talks, but to me, it means nothing! We’re all working together, but we want to win even more trophies!”

Man Utd missing out on PSG star Goncalo Ramos is a major blow for Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford

Goncalo Ramos enjoyed silverware success in the French capital in the 2024-25 season after PSG completed a continental treble under manager Luis Enrique.

The PSG striker has lifted two Ligue 1 titles, a Champions League and two French Cups during his time at the Parc des Princes since his 2023 move.

Ramos was loaned out to PSG from Benfica in 2023 before the Portugal international made the switch permanent to the Paris-based side for an initial fee of €65m.

Ruben Amorim will no doubt want a new striker at Old Trafford before the summer window shuts and United will have to explore other options after Ramos’ stance.
