Forest bounced back four minutes later when Murillo got a boot to Neco Williams’ drive from distance to bring the Reds deservedly level.
Eze struck the crossbar from range late on, but the Reds claimed a point from the encounter.
Leicester City at the City Ground came next the following Sunday, where Morgan Gibbs-White brought Forest level after Conor Coady had earlier put the Foxes ahead.
Chris Wood’s superb header gave the Reds the advantage before Facundo Buonanotte equalised once more with 10 minutes remaining.
Forest’s final away match of the campaign came against West Ham United at London Stadium.
Nuno’s Reds returned to winning ways when first Gibbs-White put Forest ahead on 11 minutes before Nikola Milenković headed home just after the hour mark to double the Reds’ advantage.
Jarrod Bowen pulled a goal back for the home side with four minutes remaining, but the points belonged to Forest as the Reds secured a 10th Premier League away win of the campaign.
A visit from Chelsea rounded off the season with a Levi Colwill goal proving to be the distance between the clubs.
Forest became the first Premier League club to double its points tally from one season to the next as European football was secured for the first time in 30 seasons during a memorable 2024/25 campaign for Nottingham Forest.
