Liverpool supporters have every right to be excited by their team’s summer transfer business so far.
After capturing the Premier League title last season, the Reds appear determined to kick on ahead of Arne Slot’s second season in charge.
Not satisfied with settling for what they have, Liverpool have entered the market with force and are all set to sign Florian Wirtz.
Wirtz will arrive for a record-shattering transfer fee as he becomes not only the biggest signing in Liverpool history, but also potentially the most expensive British transfer of all time.
It has been a much anticipated move both in England and in Germany, as Liverpool get one over on Bundesliga behemoths Bayern Munich.
The wait finally appears to be over for Liverpool fans, with Wirtz all set to join on Friday. And as the Reds prepare to announce their mammoth move, they are reportedly putting together some ‘special’ content.

Liverpool planning ‘special’ Florian Wirtz announcement
Wirtz’s move to Anfield has felt like a long time coming. It has been a tense month or so for supporters as they wait desperately to hear good news.
Thankfully, that arrived last week, with reports that a breakthrough had been made. With Wirtz then retreating for a quick holiday, he landed on Merseyside on Thursday to undergo his routine medical tests.

Wirtz has been due for further tests on Friday after which, according to Sky Sports, he will be officially announced as Liverpool’s newest, most expensive player.
“Part two of the medical here in Liverpool is underway,” reporter Ben Ransom said from outside the Liverpool training ground.

“He will then have to sign that contract, assuming that all is well.”
“Then you’d imagine the club will have something special planned for him, I’m sure there will be some media duties as they look to try and make that worldwide splash with some sort of content to be released when the official announcement is made and we are expecting that today.”
How will Liverpool announce Wirtz?
In the day and age of the football transfer, how a club announces a signing is almost as important as the signing itself.
Given the price of the move and the anticipation it has caused, Liverpool are likely to pull out all the stops to get it right with Wirtz.
As the 22-year-old has arrived alongside former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong, it seems possible that the right-back will be incorporated somehow.
Frimpong and Wirtz are close friends and it would feel appropriate to get him involved.
The Liverpool media team have often earned praise for their inventive and creative announcements over recent years. Let’s see what they have lined up for their biggest one yet.
