Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah has agreed personal terms ahead of a move to Bayer Leverkusen, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old has reached an agreement over a five-year deal which will see him link up with former Man United boss Erik ten Hag until 2030.
Leverkusen have agreed a club-record £35million deal with Liverpool, eclipsing their previous record of £27.3million set by Kerem Demirbay in 2019.
A medical is now being lined up in the coming days as the England Under-21 star will undergo tests before making his move official.
Quansah fell out of favour under Arne Slot as he started just 13 games and played 1,290 minutes across all competitions as the Reds lifted the Premier League title.

The defender is believed to have been keen on a move away whether short-term or permanent as he wants to play regular football at this stage of his career.
He fell down the pecking order at Anfield behind Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez, while they are expected to sign another centre-back this summer.
As a result, interest in his signature has spiked as Brown told Football Insider that Nottingham Forest were considering a move for Quansah.
Instead, Leverkusen have swooped ahead of rivals in the race for his signature with a big-money offer and are now closing in on the formal completion of the deal.

Andy Robertson update emerges amid Milos Kerkez deal
Quansah is not the only defender who could be leaving Anfield this summer amid growing speculation surrounding the future of Andy Robertson.
Brown told Football Insider on 20 June that Liverpool are open to selling Robertson as they close in on a deal for Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez.
With Kerkez’s arrival now imminent, the Reds will have three left-backs on their books, all of whom will be keen to play first-team football next season.
Football Insider revealed on 17 June that Liverpool could cash in on Robertson if an acceptable offer arrives rather than hand him a new deal.
