A new Cleveland Browns stadium: Catering to owners rather than satisfying residents

As a tour guide for visitors to Cleveland, I am thrilled to hear, “We had no idea what Cleveland has to offer.” When I explain how fortunate we are to have three major league sports teams all located downtown, they are even more impressed especially seeing their locations and the ease with which a resident can reach them.

Why does this Browns stadium have to be geared to greasing the palms off the owners as opposed to satisfying our residents?

Do the residents think Brook Park is a draw? Have they tried getting there from the far East Side? Why not seek a vote from the Cuyahoga residents?

Not a new idea - but a sensible one. Listen to the people!
