Watch: Junyent bags hat-trick as Spain-U19s progress to Euro semi-finals

Barcelona’s young talent continue to catch the eye during the summer, with [Quim Junyent](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/1/26/24351645/hansi-flick-takes-a-check-on-quim-junyent-in-barcelona-training) Andres Cuenca, Alexis Olmedo, Jofre Torrents, Tomas Marques and Jan Virgili all featuring for Spain’s Under-19s.

La Rojita thrashed Montenego 5-0 on Thursday to finish top of their group at the U19 Euros with three wins from their opening three games.

Junyent stole the show with a brilliant hat-trick to ensure he also walked off with the MVP award. It was the kind of performance that will surely not have gone unnoticed in the Hansi Flick household - even if he is still on holiday.

Jan Virgili - who this week has been tipped to be part of the Barca first-team’s pre-season - was also on the scoresheet. He also grabbed an assist for Junyent in another effective showing.

The [highly-rated Torrents](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/5/14/24429192/barcelona-teen-jofre-torrents-signs-new-deal-tipped-to-do-pre-season-with-hansi-flicks-side) also managed to find the back of the net for Spain, but unfortunately his effort was disallowed.

Junyent spoke out after the match and was clearly delighted with his performance.

“I feel very good. I think it’s a very special tournament for us players, we compete with some of the best teams in the world,” he told reporters. “I’m very happy for me and the team, we are in the semi-finals.”

Spain’s Under-19s now progress to the semi-finals of the tournament and will play either Germany, England or Norway for a place in the final.
