The official Premier League fixture list for the 2025/2026 campaign has been released, and as always, it has a lot of Arsenal fans talking as they attempt to map out how the season will go.
It’s safe to say that the opening six games of the season are going to serve as a baptism of fire. Manchester United, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Newcastle all await – which will really test the Gunners’ ability to hit the ground running.
The Christmas period, while busy, looks pretty manageable for the lads, with another few highlights coming at the end of November and February when Arsenal face rivals Tottenham and Chelsea in consecutive weeks.
It will be a tough January with the return fixtures against Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Leeds on the horizon, but by that point, we should have a much clearer idea of what we’re pushing for in terms of a possible title charge.
The dreaded ‘run-in’, in truth, isn’t that scary at all this time around. The final eight games will see Arsenal face Wolves, Bournemouth, Manchester City, Newcastle, Fulham, West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace. If you’re going to look at things from an ‘on paper’ perspective, we’d say that this is about as good as the Gunners could hope for.
Yes, things are going to be tough in the early months, but we would argue that favours Arsenal given their ability to start quick. The odds will imply Liverpool and Manchester City are leading the charge in the eyes of the bookmakers, but the Gunners thrive on being counted out, currently holding odds of 5/2 (you can [estimate the returns with an odds calculator](https://www.aceodds.com/bet-calculator.html)).
If we can have a big push in the summer transfer window and keep the big names on the books, this could be the season in which all the years of waiting for a league championship finally leads us back to the top.
