Ruben Amorim and Manchester United could now see one European club make a move for a striker who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United will soon begin their pre-season campaign, which will take place in July and August, ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.
The Red Devils on Wednesday learned that United’s 2025-26 Premier League fixture list has a tough run of fixtures for Ruben Amorim’s men in the opening weeks.
United will begin their Premier League campaign on 17th August, with the Red Devils hosting rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford for a 4:30pm UK kick-off time.
Amorim will no doubt want to see further reinforcements to his United first-team ahead of the new season and before the summer window closes on 1st September.
The 40-year-old United manager was frustrated on the touchline in the 2024-25 season, with the Red Devils looking toothless at times in attack amid their poor run of form.

Dusan Vlahovic remains on the summer transfer market amid Man Utd being linked with the Juventus striker
Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with Manchester United and Juventus are believed to be ready to sanction a sale for the 25-year-old Serbian forward this summer.
The Serbia striker scored 15 times and picked up five assists in 42 matches across all competitions for Juventus during the 2024-25 season at the Allianz Stadium.
Dusan Vlahovic is under contract with Juventus until 2026 and the Old Lady have reportedly placed a £38.5m price tag on the Serbia international this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlahovic’s representatives have been on the hunt for a new club for the player for ‘months now’ and a ‘new contract’ opportunity.
However, there have been ‘no concrete negotiations’ for the Juventus star and there has been no ‘official offer’ to sign Vlahovic from the Serie A side so far.

Man Utd-linked Dusan Vlahovic offered a potential route out of Juventus amid AC Milan transfer interest
AC Milan are now believed to be interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic and reuniting him with former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri at the Serie A club.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Vlahovic’s relationship with AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has ‘remained intact’ from their time together at Juventus.
The Italian newspaper added that the former Fiorentina striker would ‘consider the idea of moving to Milan,’ despite the club being out of the Champions League.
However, it is believed that a major roadblock for Milan would be Vlahovic’s salary and the Italian club ‘cannot afford such a high salary’ amid their financial woes.
It has been reported that Vlahovic wants to sign at least a three-year contract with the Serie A club and the Juventus star ‘currently earns 12 million euros net.’
