The future of Marcus Rashford is still up in the air as the Manchester United wantaway is yet to determine his next club.

Rashford’s loan spell with Aston Villa for the second half of last season helped the attacker to kick-start his career after being dropped by Ruben Amorim.

Not only was the 27-year-old a regular under Unai Emery at Villa Park, however he also regained his spot in the England squad.

Unfortunately for Rashford, his temporary move wasn’t made permanent, with Villa unable to meet his hefty wage demands without the financial benefits of Champions League football.

Now Manchester Evening News has reported that Inter Milan have opened up conversations about a move for the United attacker.

The report explains that the Serie A side tentatively asked about Rashford when expressing interest in Rasmus Hojlund earlier this month.

However should the Italian side go for the attacker, it would only be as a loan-deal.

It’s unknown how Manchester United would feel about another loan spell for Rashford given that Ruben Amorim has no intention on reintegrating him into his squad.

As such, it’s likely that the United veteran will be leaving on a permanent basis this summer.

Rashford has requested that he not attend the pre-season tour of America to prioritise finalising a move away from Old Trafford instead.

Whilst the 27-year-old wants a move to Barcelona, with his agent having already met sporting director Deco in the Spanish city.

It’s understood that both Deco and Hansi Flick, the Barcelona manager, are huge admirers of Rashford, considering him for the LaLiga side ahead of next season.

However, nothing has materialised as of yet for Rashford to land his “dream move” to the Spanish giants, or anywhere else.
