Serie A side Napoli have made some progress in a move for Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez.
**Alfredo Pedulla** has [reported](https://www.alfredopedulla.com/esclusiva-nunez-il-napoli-e-gia-oltre-i-40-milioni-la-verita-sulla-valutazione/) that the Partenopei have been chasing the forward for about 40 days now and while a move for Lorenzo Lucca is said to be much easier, they want to give their all in a move for Nunez.
The Uruguayan is keen on staying in Europe after having rejected a move to the Middle East. Liverpool would be happy with a fee that is around €50 million to €55 million, contrary to the €70 million price that has been spoken of in the Italian media.
Napoli have gone as far as up to €43 million and they want to close a deal as soon as they can. The South American is seen as the key international profile that can act as a back-up to Romelu Lukaku and if a move doesn’t progress with Liverpool, a move will be explored for Lucca.
