Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss is likely to leave the Foxes but rumours of an Arsenal swoop have been played down by Sacha Tavolieri.
Leicester City endured a 2024/25 campaign to forget and are coming straight back down to the Championship as a result. LCFC finished 18th in the Premier League, table, a hefty 13 points off survival.
A new chapter is set to begin with a fresh manager likely to be appointed but as it stands, Ruud van Nistelrooy remains in place and a replacement would not appear to be close at landing at the King Power Stadium.

As is the case with all relegated clubs, the Foxes are certain to lose some big assets while eyes will be on new signings. Of those expected to depart, many will anticipate attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss makes an eye-catching move.
Numerous clubs including Arsenal have been linked with the Leicester City star and rumours have ramped up over a firm move from the Gunners.
However, reputable reporter Sacha Tavolieri has said on X that as of now, there has been no contact between Arsenal and El Khannouss or his representatives.
Tavolieri does add that it is ‘less likely’ that the LCFC ace stays put though, with a move back to a higher level likely in the offing.
One of few shining lights
Leicester City didn’t have a lot to smile about last season and they’re a club in need of encouragement and hope for next season too, with PSR regulation threats lingering like a dark cloud over the King Power Stadium.

However, Moroccan ace El Khannouss was a big positive, even if his efforts weren’t enough to inspire a survival bid at LCFC.

Operating primarily as an attacking midfielder or left winger, El Khannouss chipped in with three goals and five assists in 36 games. He displayed clear talent and the 21-year-old has the potential to become a valuable asset at a top club in the years to come.
Who else could leave Leicester City?
As far as notable assets go, El Khannouss tops the pile at Leicester City. However, there are other stars who will likely look to move onto pastures new after the relegation.

Mads Hermansen is bound to draw interest, while it could be tough to persuade the likes of Caleb Okoli, Wilfred Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare, Victor Kristiansen, Stephy Mavididi and Patson Daka to stick around.
LCFC could certainly benefit from a rebuild, but it leaves a big summer ahead of the club as they look to bounce back to the Premier League once again.
