Arsenal have reportedly made an enquiry to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery to replace Thomas Partey.
The Ghana international’s contract is due to expire at the end of the month, and it has been reported that talks aren’t going well. It looks as though Partey is going to leave the club, meaning that Arsenal will need to find a replacement.

Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi is expected to sign for the Gunners to replace Jorginho, but they also need someone to fill the shoes of Partey. It has now emerged that they are interested in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery.
According to TBR, Arsenal have made an enquiry to sign the 19-year-old, and fellow Premier League clubs Chelsea and Liverpool are also reportedly keen on him. This past season, he fell below Joao Neves and Vitinha in the pecking order at PSG, hence why the Gunners are monitoring his situation.
The 19-year-old made 29 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists. He plays as a central midfielder, who has more defensive tendencies, much like Partey, and would be a long-term replacement for the Ghana international.
His current market value is estimated to be around £47 million, however, it is likely that PSG would want more for the 19-year-old due to his potential.
Who could Arsenal sign instead of Zaire-Emery?
In terms of centre-midfielders, Arsenal were previously linked to signing Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, but the Magpies are likely very reluctant to sell him.
The Brazilian had been linked to Man City in the past, he made 47 appearances last season for Newcastle, scoring five goals and providing eight assists.
However, due to Newcastle qualifying for the Champions League, Guimaraes is less likely to be willing to leave St James’ Park to come to the Emirates.
