Walker-Peters, who has been a consistent performer even during a challenging season for Southampton, is reportedly keen to return to the Premier League. His impressive performances in a struggling Saints team have caught the eye of several clubs and, according to Graeme Bailey from EFL Analysis, the full-back will definitely be playing Premier League football next season.
Bailey said:
“He’s got an awful lot of interest. He’s not staying the Championship, that’s for sure.
“Everton, Fulham, and West Ham like him, and even Tottenham, who were considering bringing him back as a homegrown player.
“He’s got an awful lot of options available to him and he will be going to the Premier League.

“I don’t think there is a favourite for him at this point, but he’s weighing up his options now, and he’s got a lot of them.”
Why Premier League clubs are chasing Walker-Peters
The main reason for the widespread interest in Walker-Peters is his versatility and proven ability to perform at the highest level. Even in a really difficult season for Southampton, he consistently produced a high level of performance, displaying his impressive mentality alongside standout abilities.
The former Tottenham defender’s ability to excel in various roles, combined with his leadership qualities, makes him an attractive option for Premier League clubs looking to strengthen their squads.

At 28, the Englishman is in the prime of his career, which makes him an appealing investment for clubs.
His experience in the Premier League further increases his value, as clubs know he has the ability to hit the ground running, with minimal adaptation required.
Will Still’s vision for a new-look Southampton team
With Southampton now under the management of Will Still, the club is poised for a major overhaul both on and off the pitch. The Belgian-born manager, who made a name for himself with impressive stints in Ligue 1, is expected to bring a fresh, dynamic approach.
Still’s tactical flexibility and emphasis on high-intensity football are expected to be key features of his managerial style at Southampton. As a young, ambitious coach, he is likely to focus on building a team with pace and pressing ability.

With the Saints’ relegation leaving them with a slim chance of keeping their best players, Still will need to rely on shrewd acquisitions. These would include young emerging talents who can bring energy and fresh ideas to the squad.
Still’s ability to adapt his approach to both the Championship and the Premier League will be tested, but his track record suggests that he could be the right man to lead Southampton into a new era.
