PSG submit second offer for Cherries centre back Zabarnyi: Reports

Sky Sports’ Mark McAdams indicated the Cherries value the Ukrainian at more than £70million, with talks continuing.

The Paris giants have Zabarnyi as among their top defensive targets this summer, McAdam said.

Fellow centre back Dean Huijsen has already departed Bournemouth this summer, joining Real Madrid for £50m.

Left back Milos Kerkez looks poised to join Liverpool as a deal was reportedly agreed today, worth around £40m.

The Cherries have brought in one player so far this summer in Adrien Truffert, who signed from Rennes, and is set to be Kerkez’s replacement.

Zabarnyi signed for the Cherries in January 2023 for £24m, and has been a mainstay of the Bournemouth defence.

In the past two seasons under Andoni Iraola, he has played all but three games in the Premier League, and he has amassed 86 appearances for the Dorset side.

He signed a contract extension in July 2024, which runs to 2029.
